Here are some fun things you can do with the family this weekend.

Saturday, November 5

Michaels: Crafting Events
Bring the kids out to create some cool projects this weekend.  I know by boys love to do crafts!

  • Nov 5th @11am-12pm: Upcycled Tote Bag Event w/Purchase of Tote
  • Nov 5th @12pm-2pm: Veterans Day Flag Event, Free
  • Nov 6th @1pm-3pm: Yarn Event
  • Nov 6th @1pm-3pm: Knit & Crochet Demo

Toys R Us: Kickoff to Christmas @12pm-3pm

Bring the kids out to meet Geoffrey and make their Christmas Wish List.  Toys R Us will be donating $1 for every wish list created to Make-A-Wish Foundation.  You can also try out the hottest toys this season.

Sunday, November 6

Possum Creek MetroPark: Corn Harvesting Demo @ 1pm-4pm

Bring the kids out to see how corn is harvested.  They will watch the farmer’s pick, shell, and save seed for next year’s crops.  There will be some hands on activities and they will meet at the barn.

It is weather and crop dependent.  Please register online or call 937-276-7062.

Sugarcreek MetroPark: Prairie Play @1pm-4pm

This is a free event for all ages.  Spend the afternoon learning and playing prairie games.  Be sure to wear clothes to for the outdoors and no sandals.
