Dayton Free Weekend Events: June 29-July 1, 2012

 

It is the start of 4th of July festivities and events!  Here are some free things to do this weekend!

City Folk Fesitval @5pm-11pm

Enjoy this annual music and multi-cultural festival.  There will be food, themed exhibits, children’s activities. However, they do have a $5 suggested donation for admission.

WPAFB:AFMC Freedom’s [email protected]

This event will be held on the grounds of National Museum of the Air Force with Eddie Money headlining for the live entertainment. There will be flyovers, music, family zone, displays and it will end with a fireworks show.  Gates open at 4pm.

Saturday, June 30

City Folk Fesitval @1pm-11pm

Enjoy this annual music and multi-cultural festival.  There will be food, themed exhibits, children’s activities. However, they do have a $5 suggested donation for admission.

West Carrollton: [email protected]

This event will be held at Wilson Park.  The festival will have lots of activities for the entire family including:

  • balloon launch
  • dueling tanks
  • Kids Zone
  • Petting Zoo
  • Obstacle Course and more!

Sunday, July 1

Carriage Hill MetroPark: A Grand Old Independence Day@1pm-5pm

You will be able to enjoy some period games and contests to celebrate Independence Day.
