Here are some great free weekend events/activities that you can do with your family this weekend.
Wright Brothers Airport: Runway Fest @6pm-10pm
This will fun for the entire family with food, music and live entertainment. You will be able to see the Wright B Flyer, hop onto a hot air balloon and the night will end with fireworks. Also, there will be face painting as well.
Downtown Dayton: First Friday at @5pm-10pm
Vandalia Seger Park: Kung Fu Panda 2 @9:15pm
Home Depot Kids Workshop: Cork Bulletin Board @9am-12pm
Bring the kids out to make their own Cork Bulletin Board. You do not need to register but I would get there early to ensure your child gets a kit.
Every participant will receive a project, orange kids sized apron, project themed pin. Also, they will have a life sized poster of the Lorax for the kids to take their picture with at the store.
Young’s Jersey Dairy: Vintage Truck Show @9am-4pm
There will be over 100 Vintage and Interesting trucks on display along with the story behind the vehicles told by their owners. Sounds like a fun one for any one who loves cars!
Eastwood MetroPark: British Car Day @9am-4pm
There will be over 300 British Cars and Motorcycles on display at Eastwood Park. Should be a great time for any car enthusiast.
Meowza Dayton Mall: Kitten Fest @1pm-4pm
Sue Taylor, a cat behavior specialist will be on hand to share on how to manage your cat’s behavior. She will be on hand to answer any questions. Also, there will be face painting for the kids too!
