Dayton Free Halloween Weekend Fun: Oct 26 – 28, 2012

You can find several Halloween and Fall Fun for the entire family this weekend including FREE admission to a corn maze!  What are your plans?

Friday, October 26

The Magic Castle – Spooky Mini Golf @6:30pm- 8:30pm

Kids 12 and under that wear their costume can play mini golf for Free.  Parents can play for $2.50 when accompanied with a child in costume.  This is not scary but dark.

Wegerzyn Gardens – Spooky Eventing in the Garden @6:30pm -8:30pm

Here is your opportunity to enjoy Wegerzyn in the evening.  Wear your costumes, enjoy activities and a snack near the fire pit. You can learn about fun facts about the trees and plants this time of year.

Hidden Valley Fruit Farm- Free Corn Maze

There will be Kids costume contest starting at 2pm along with a parade.  You can even go through the corn maze for free!

Saturday, October 27

Lowe’s Build and Grow: Creepy Keeper @10am-12pm

Be sure to register the kids to build their own Creepy Keeper.  Each participant will receive a kit, goggles, apron, project theme patch and a certificate of completion.

You will want to register the kids to ensure their spot.

Cake, Hope & Love – Halloween Bash 2012 @11am-8pm

There will be a kids & pet parade with prizes, face painting, Guess the Goo, Live Music and even a Cupcake Eating Contest!  You can decorate your won cupcake for $3, or have a cup of coffee for $1.  The Fressa Food truck will be there for food to purchase as well.

This event will be held rain or shine.  All kids in costume will receive a free mini cupcake while supplies last.  This should be loads of fun!

Kettering Recreation Complex- Sled Hockey @3:30pm

Sled Hockey is a Paralympic Olympic Sport and there will be teams from Cincinnati and Columbus.  You can watch the game and then try out the sleds afterwards.  I have never seen Sled Hockey but I bet it sounds really cool. I can almost bet my boys will love it.
