Lowe’s Build and Grow: Pull Back Race  Car 10am-12pm

Come out and build your own 48 Pull Back Race car.  You will need to register at Lowe’s Build and Grow to make sure that they will have a kit for you.  Every participant will receive in addition to the kit the following:

  • Apron
  • Goggles
  • Project Themed Patch
  • Certificate of Completion

Also, Mark your calendars for the next project, Shoot Around Basketball Hoop, which will be 3/12/2011.  This is just in time for March Madness and you may want to go ahead and register if you think you will be able to attend.

Borders: Happy Birthday Elmo 2pm-3pm

Come out and celebrate our favorite Sesame Street friend, Elmo.  There will be stories, music and crafts but will not be a costumed character event.  This is geared for children 3-6 years old.4

Also, this location will be closing so you may want to see if they have started to discount while you are there.

PNC 2nd Street Market: Black History Celebration 9am-2pm

Come out and celebrate Black History at the Market.  You will be able to hear some great Gospel music and entertainment from the following:

  • Dianne Coble Ensemble
  • DC Men of God
  • The Chaminade Julienne Ensemble
  • Mary Queen of Peace Special Edition Dance Troop
  • Mary Anne Studio Zumba of Ohio

They will have many local vendors on hand.  Our favorite is the giant soft pretzels and all the breads.  If you have never been, you are missing out!
