Dayton Free Events | October 14-15

Here are some local events in the Dayton Area that are budget friendly since they are FREE!  I love fall events!

Friday, October 14

Wright Dunbar Interpretive Center | Night at the Museum @ 6pm-9pm

Saturday, October 15

Air Force Museuem Family Day | Halloween @10am-3pm

Family Day at the museum will be Halloween themed and fun for the entire family.  Some activities you will not want to miss include:

  • Shooting Halloween Targets
  • Bobbing for Apples to learn about Density
  • Screaming Cups to learn about sound waves
  • Halloween Skee Ball
  • Face Painting
  • Scavenger Hunt
  • Make a Ring Glider from 1:30pm-3:30pm
  • Storytime at 11:30am and 1:15pm

Marvin’s Organic Garden | Fall Festival @12pm-5pm

PNC 2nd Street Market| Fall Family Day @10am-2pm

There will be live music, pumpkin decorating and sampling of fall fruits and vegetables!  This is a great place to buy local and get the freshest produce and goods!

Possum Creek MetroPark | Fall Jamboree @ 12pm-5pm

If you love fall, then you will want to make sure to attend this free Harvest Celebration.  There will be the following activities:

  • Live Music
  • Demonstrations
  • Chidren’s Games
  • Pony & Wagon Rides
  • Visit the Scarecrow Convention with Nursery Rhyme theme
