Dayton Children’s to Benefit Pediatric Cancer on Giving Tuesday

The last few days has been the biggest shopping days of the year with Black Friday and Cyber Monday.  I know I have taken advantage of lots of great deals for gifts for the  holidays however have you considered Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a National movement to encourage you to donate to your favorite local causes on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This year, Dayton Children’s will be giving all the proceeds donated today to benefit the pediatric cancers and blood disorders endowment fund. I bet we all know a child that is fighting cancer.

Check out this video of four pediatric patients from Dayton Children’s.  This is an awesome example how these kids view fighting their daily battle with cancer. They are true super heroes and very brave! (Grab a kleenex).  It will touch your heart because it did mine! One of the patients featured in this video attend my boys’ school and I had to help to spread the word of this cause.

I am thankful for the work at Dayton Children’s.  He have not been directly affected with pediatric cancer but we have been there several times throughout the years.  The doctors, nurses and staff truly have a heart for kids. I am so grateful that we have such a great children’s hospital right here in Dayton.

How can you help? Share the video and spread the word.  You can also head over to Dayton Children’s website and make a donation.  Today, all the money that is donated will benefit child cancers and blood disorders endowment fund.  Our family will be joining the fight by donating!  Will you join us?
