US Air Force Museum | Space Night

If you have ever wanted to meet a real life astronaut, then now is your chance!  The US Air Force Museum is having Space Night this Thursday, May 5th from 6pm-11pm.

This is a free event and will be fun for the whole family to learn more about space from those that have actually been there!

Make sure you check out the following activities!

  • Try landing a model shuttle
  • View lunar samples and space artifacts
  • Have your picture taken in “space”
  • See scale Mercury capsule and shuttle
  • Interactive kiosks from NASA Glenn Research Center
  • See high power rockets
  • Compare gravity on difference planets
  • Step inside a spacesuit
  • See official UFO sighting documents
  • Make paper shuttles and astronauts

Don’t miss the Astronauts presentations and autograph session from 7pm-8:30pm! Autographs will be limited 1 per person.

The Mophis Movie Ride will be discounted to $3 for everyone 8 yrs and up.  All kids 7 and younger will be Free.

Also, IMAX Theater will have discounted shows throughout the evening.   Tickets will be $4.50 for 8yrs and older and kids 7 and under will be Free.  The available shows and times are as follows:

  • 7pm-Destiny in Space
  • 5pm & 8pm-Space Station
  • 6pm & 9pm-Hubble
