Menu Plan Monday | August 29

I’m in kind of a menu planning rut.  Does that ever happen to you?  I’m looking for some inspiration.  Share some new recipes or meal ideas in the comments pretty please! Here’s what we’re having for dinner this week. What’s on your plan?

Monday: Hamburgers, Corn on the Cob & Homemade French Fries

We decided last minute to use a gift certificate to go out for dinner last Friday.  The corn on the cob we were supposed have then needs to be eaten & the burgers are still in the freezer.

Tuesday: Grilled Panini’s, Veggies & Dip

Our Tuesday’s just got busier!  We now will have 2 boys going to karate and the third boy has soccer practice.  As much as we value dinner together as a family, that’s not going to happen on Tuesday’s for awhile.  That means that dinners are going to have to be easy!

Wednesday: Breakfast for Dinner

Both mornings this past weekend my youngest asked for pancakes for breakfast. It didn’t happen either morning though.  How about pancakes for dinner instead?

Thursday: Date Night at Home – Steak, Baked Potatoes & Salad

The boys will have leftovers for dinner. My hubby & I are going to have a date night at home after the kids are in bed.  Gotta love school night bedtimes! Do you have stay at home date nights?

Friday:  Chicken Bruschetta Pasta

I think this may have been on a previous week’s menu plan but I know we didn’t have it. The Philadelphia Cooking Creme (with the recipe on the package) is still in the fridge so it’s on this weeks plan.

Saturday: Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, Brown Rice & Veggies

Boneless Chicken Breasts are on sale for $1.99/lb at both Kroger and Meijer this week.  I’m going to marinate several.  Some for Saturday’s dinner and some for the freezer for a future meal.

Sunday: Grilling out with Friends

We actually don’t have any plans for the upcoming holiday weekend yet.  I’m sure (hoping) that will change between now and then.  Of course a Labor Day holiday get together means grilling out.  I guess I will decide just what we will be grilling as the plans are made.

If you menu plan,do you do it on a weekly or monthly basis?
