Menu Plan Monday | May 23rd

Here’s what we’re having for dinner this week. What’s on your plan?

Monday: Pasta Primavera with Italian Turkey Sausage

If we ever get our garden planted, I’ll be making this meal with fresh zucchini & squash right from our own backyard.  I’m using Jungle Jim’s veggies this week instead.  I have Italian Pork Sausage in the freezer so I’ll be using it instead of turkey sausage.

Tuesday: Shredded BBQ Chicken Sandwiches, Veggies & Pretzels

We almost always have dinner together as a family.  With karate from 5-6 & baseball from 7-8, Tuesday may be an exception though.  “Eat when you can” will have to do this night!

Wednesday: Chicken Salad Sandwiches & Grilled Corn on the Cob

Corn is just $.16/ear at Meijer this week!  Paired with smoked chicken salad sandwiches, this sounds like a great warm weather dinner.

Thursday: Leftovers for Kids/Bravo Bar Bites for Us!

My hubby and I are going out for a much needed date night.  Bravo’s Bar Bites menu has plenty for dinner and they are only $2.95 each!  The kids and the babysitter, aka Grandma, are having leftovers.

Friday: Dinner Out

We’re heading out for dinner after my sister’s medical school graduation.  I’m incredibly proud of her.  Looking forward to an evening of celebration!!

Saturday & Sunday: Grilling Out w/Friends & Spaghetti & Meatballs

Saturday & Sunday are lumped together because I’m not sure of our plans just yet.  I’m looking forward to a long holiday weekend.  I’m sure there will be at least ~ and maybe 2 ~ nights of grilling out with friends.  Spaghetti & Meatballs is my stand-by meal for the second night.
