Ikea | Kids Eat Free + Meatballs for Less

Now through January 9th kids 12 & under eat Free at Ikea.  Choose from one of three kids combo meals regularly priced at $2.49 each.  Combo meals come with a drink.

And for the grown-ups …

Ikea has reduced the price of their meatballs.  Choose a Swedish Meatball plate with 15 meatballs, cream sauce, mashed potatoes & lingonberry preserves for $3.99 or a bag of Meatballs to prepare at home for $6.99.  Either way, save $1 over last years price.

My little one enjoys Ikea's play area while I shop.  The big kids are too tall but on our last trip there we found out that they can do a scavenger hunt while we shop.  They even get a coupon good for a Free frozen yogurt cone when they turn in the completed scavenger hunt form at the play area.

I did not know about the scavenger hunt – does it take forever or is it just a fun, quick thing? I am worried T won’t be able to get in and I only need to grab a few things!

It’s not a hard scavenger hunt. There are stickers all over the store. Each one has a word on it. The kids need to find 10 out of 20 maybe. I forget the exact number but my boys found enough before we were half way through the store. Have fun!
