Come to the Heritage Village Museum Haynor House tonight August 22, 2012 at 7pm to hear a fascinating presentation by Greg Fugitt about what it was like to be a Civil War soldier. Fugitt focuses on soldiers from Southwest Ohio, discussing with listeners their daily lives, including what they ate, what they wore, where they slept and other details. He also looks at differences in rank affecting their lives as well as comparing life in camp versus life on a campaign and what it was like being in friendly or hostile territory.
This event is Free and open to the public. The Heritage Village Museum is located at Sharon Woods Park in Sharonville, OH. You will need a Hamilton County Parking pass to enter ($3 daily; $10 annual). Enjoy!
