Now my Grand-daughters love to go to Frisch’s as often as they can. Laura LOVES the vegetable soup, fish sandwich and onion rings. My littl one, Laina does serious damage to the Salad Bar and a Hot Fudge Cake.

Frisch’s is very special to my Husband & I. We ate there the night we got married in 2003. On January 5th, 2011 we sat at a table in Frisch’s and decided to adopt our now son, who was born 7 days later!!!! And it was the first place our son went for dinner! So naturally, he was the Frisch’s Big Boy for Halloween!!! WE LOVE FRISCH’S!

  • Cherie Pearl Bassette - November 01, 2011 @ 1:37 pm

I remember Frisch’s Mainliner on Madison Road in Oakley as I lived down the street on Ibsen Avenue for 30 years. I now live in Washington, D.C. and miss the Big Boy, onion rings and cherry coke the most! Every time I am home I go straight to the mainliner on Central Parkway and get my Frisch’s fix and then I am satisfied. I wish you were here in D.C. I also love the fish sandwich too as it is to fresh.

  • Amanda - November 01, 2011 @ 1:37 pm

I used to work at big boy and I loved it. The big boy hamburgers, pulled pork when it came through. And the breakfast, it was the best. And the crew cant forget about them! Now when my family comes to visit it is the place to go before they leave town.

  • Timothy Cox - November 01, 2011 @ 1:37 pm

I grew up going to the Fricsh’s Mainliner in Fairfax, Ohio. I loved going there as a little kid with my family and watching that number board on the wall waiting for our number to be seated. My favorite it a Big Boy platter with onion rings. It’s like heaven on earth. And to wash it down with a Cherry Coke or a Chocolate Coke. Aahhhh the memories.

  • Kim Breitenbach - November 01, 2011 @ 1:38 pm

  • Jenny G. - November 01, 2011 @ 1:52 pm

I’ve been going to Frisch’s since I was a kid. I always ordered the same thing…bowl of chili, french fries, and a chocolate shake! And, the pumpkin pie was to die for. I now live in another state where there are no Frisch’s restaurants. But, I make sure it’s on my list of “things to do” whenever I get back to Cincinnati to visit family!

  • Chad Metcalf - November 01, 2011 @ 1:53 pm

My two sisters and I all worked there at the same time when we were younger. I was a waitress, another was a carhop and my older sister was a wrap and pack for to go orders. It was a fun time to work with both my sisters. I amazed them with how much I could eat Big Boy fries grilled cheese and if I was still hungry pumpkin pie. Yummy!!!!!

  • Ray Mertle - November 01, 2011 @ 1:58 pm

It’s the place I take my wife for great dinner or Sunday after after church and get their great breakfast.

  • VICKI BITNER - November 01, 2011 @ 2:01 pm

I remember my dad let me push the button to get service when they served outside. :o)

  • Brad Francis - November 01, 2011 @ 2:01 pm

I remember going to Frisch’s back when I was a kid. My mother died when I was just 10 years old and of coarse my Dad never cooked. Needless to say, we ate out alot! Frisch’s was usually the place we decided to go. After leaving the Ohio area, I did not see a Frisch’s for several years. My wife and I left Florida and moved to Somerset a few years ago and finally got to eat at a Frisch’s again. Since then we have moved to Hamilton, Ohio and visit Frisch’s here pretty often. There is nothing like a Big Boy with extra tarter sauce, and we love the salad bar. And can’t forget the breakfast bar on Saturday mornings!

  • Ann Wiseman - November 01, 2011 @ 2:06 pm

I just went to Frisch’s last night! Had the tiny size Big Boy and delicious Frisch’s cole slaw, which left just enough room for the half size Hot Fudge Cake! YUMMM!!! And with far less guilt!! : )

  • Margaret Ferrell - November 01, 2011 @ 2:09 pm

I Love Frischs….I eat there every chance I can get.. I have great memories of going there as a kid when you could drive up to the “box” and the waitress would bring the food out to your car…Also I buy the tarter sauce all the time, have to keep it on hand.

  • TamoraLynBrashear - November 01, 2011 @ 2:10 pm

  • Debbie Shoemaker - November 01, 2011 @ 2:15 pm

There are few things in life that are consistent and Frisch’s being one of them makes life much more enjoyable. Never remember life without Frisch’s being a part of it and have so many special memories over a Big Boy and Onion Rings it’s incredible. • Fran Urbina - November 01, 2011 @ 4:02 pm

We used to take my great uncle to Frisch’s after church and he would treat us to whatever we wanted. Uncle Lee would get the liver and onions, dad would always get the Super Big boy with onion rings, mom would get the fish sandwich. We kids weren’t interested in anything but dessert!! We would switch between the hot fudge cake and the hot fudge sundae!! Just loved how they would put whip cream and a cherry on top!!!

Now I am momand I go for the fish on rye and its my kids that just love the hot fundge cakes!
They really enjoy the salad bar.

My son is in high school and every Wednesday before school, a group of the high schooler meet at Frisch’s for breakfast. I think that is really neat to start a men’s breakfast club at their age.

I could not imagine living in an area without a Frisch’s Big Boy!!!

  • Carmen Piening - November 01, 2011 @ 4:07 pm

There is no comparison to how great of place Big Boy is. You get great food always hot and to your liking and if there is something wrong they take care of it. The service most of the time is the greatest. It is a place you can bring your family to and feel at home. I look forward to going there and there is no place like Frisches……
