Fountain Square Radio Skate: January 6 from 6pm – 10pm

Ice Skate on Fountain Square tonight with music from Warm 98.  Admission is just $.98 per person from 6pm – 10pm.

Family First Saturday at the Cincinnati Art Museum: January 7 from 1pm – 4pm

Spend an afternoon at the Art Museum with your family.  You can learn about printmaking and use recycled toy parts to make a new toy. Watch a performances by Chinese Dancers.  Don’t miss the scavenger hunt throughout the museum.  Admission and parking will both be Free!

American Sign Museum Open House: January 7 from 1pm – 5pm

The American Sign Museum is hosting an Open House before they move to their new location.  See signs from the past.  I bet there are some that you will recognize and some that you won’t.  Admission, refreshments and parking will be Free.

Hamilton County Parks Weekend Programs & Events, January 7 & 8

It is going to be a warm (for January at least) weekend!  Get outdoors and enjoy the many Free programs being offered at the parks in Hamilton County.

Saturday:

Sunday:

  • Winter Gorge Trail Hike, Sharon Woods at 2pm
  • Long Winter’s Nap, Woodland Mound at 2pm
  • Who Pooped in the Park? Tracks, Scats & Signs, Miami Whitewater Forest at 3pm
  • Cincinnati Dulcimer Society, Sharon Woods at 3pm

Home Depot Kids Workshop: Savings Shed, January 7 9am-12pm

Make a “Savings Shed” bank at this week’s Home Depot Kids Workshop. All project materials are Free. Each participant will also receive a kid sized orange apron and an achievement pin.
