Cincinnati Free Weekend Events September 28-30, 2012

Enjoy one or more of these Free events around Cincinnati this weekend. Enjoy the Fall weather, everyone!

Friday

Cincinnati Art Museum: Art After Dark 5pm-9pm

Art After Dark at the Art Museum will include live music performed by the Chris Comer Trio. There will be docent roaming the Museum and offering information on the Special Exhibit Impressions of Venice 6pm-8pm.

The event is Free. Cash bar will be available offering beverages and appetizers for purchase. Parking is $4 in the Art Museum lot.

Saturday

Newport Taste of the Levee 12pm-9pm

Newport on the Levee will host it’s 6th annual Taste of the Levee on Saturday 12pm-9pm. The event will feature live music, street performer entertainment and food & beer for purchase from local restaurants. Food items will be $3 or less. Admission is Free and open to the public.

Cincinnati Public Library: Family Game Time 2pm-3pm

The Main Library in downtown Cincinnati will host a Family Game time in honor of National Gaming Day. Play games with family and friends from 2pm-3pm. All ages are welcome. This event is Free and open to the public.

Prasco Park Free Family Movie Night + More 6:15pm

Gates open at 6:15pm on Saturday at Prasco Park for Free Chick-fil-A, ice cream, games and giveaways while supplies last. The opening fun will be followed at 7:30pm by a Free showing of the movie Monsters, Inc. Candy, popcorn and refreshments will be available for purchase at all concession locations. Admission is Free and open to the public. Bring your lawn chairs, jackets and blankets!

Sunday

Mayerson JCC: Petting Zoo & Family Fall Festival 10:30am

Celebrate the fall holidays with a baby animal petting zoo, playground fun, crafts, story time, and a snack. This event is Free. Children 6yo and under are welcome with an adult. Siblings are welcome.

Woodland Mound: Moon Madness 2pm

In honor of the full moon on Sunday night, come enjoy a program Sunday afternoon at Woodland Mound Seasongood Nature Center. Discover why we see the different phases of the moon and how they affect wildlife. The program is Free. Hamilton County Park parking pass is required. ($10 Annual; $3 Daily)
