Come to Village Green Park in Fairfield tonight just before dusk to see the last in the 2012 Free Movie series. Come a little early to enjoy Fairfield Fire Department’s pre-show fun for the entire family! The movie showing tonight is Monster House. Bring your chairs, blankets and picnic baskets!
Kids ages 5-12 will learn to build their own goal post Fire Truck at Home Depot this Saturday. Kids can paint and add embellishments to their projects while at the workshop. All kids get to keep their craft and receive a Free Kids Workshop Apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement. Safety goggles and tools will be provided.
Come for one or more of the special talks at the Main Library this Saturday in the Genealogy and Local History Department as part of the Library’s Family History Month. This Saturday’s schedule includes: 10am & 12pm tours of the Genealogy and Local History Department, 11am learn online strategies to research your Family Civil War History, 12pm-2pm individual consultations will be available to help you find a lost ancestor and 2pm a presentation of the life of General William Haines Lytle.

Come to the Cincinnati Art Museum this Saturday anytime between 12pm-4pm to take part in Family First Saturday. Our family has always enjoyed our time at this event! Take part in a day of fun including a spooky scavenger hunt through our galleries including local artists to talk to along the way. Enjoy performances by Happen, Inc. and some young musicians. Enjoy story time and stop off in Artworld for hands-on art.
Come down to Washington Park for the first of the Family Fright night series. The movie Ghostbusters will play at 7pm, followed by Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds. The event is Free and open to the public. Be sure to bring blankets, chairs and a picnic basket!
Enjoy a taste of Brazil at the Taft Museum of Art this weekend a program of samba, bossa-nova, choro, baião, and frevo style jazz at 2:30pm. Entrance to the Museum and the concert are Free and open to the public! Come a little early at 1:30pm for a Free docent led tour of the highlights of the Museum.
Join a naturalist at the Sharon Woods Sharon Centre on Sunday at 3pm for a hike through the woods. Learn how plants and animals are getting ready for winter.
