Glenwood Gardens Spring Plant Sale 12pm-6pm

Glenwood Gardens is having their annual Spring Plant Sale this weekend. Native plants for shade, sun and wet habitats will be available for purchase.

In addition to plants for sale, there will be several presentations throughout the day(s), including Proper Planting Techniques, Landscape Design Basics and Common Cents Landscaping. It looks like it will be a great time to shop and do some learning along the way!

A valid Hamilton County Park District Motor Vehicle Permit ($10 annual; $3 daily) is required to enter the parks.

Cincinnati Art Museum: Monet in Giverny: Landscapes of Reflection 11am-5pm

This is the last weekend to see this exhibit at the Cincinnati Art Museum. The exhibit includes 12 masterpieces from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including the Japanese footbridge, water lilies, and wisterias. I had several of these prints decorating my apartment in college. It’s exciting to see the originals in person!

Admission to the museum is Free. Parking is $4, however check surrounding parking lots and the street for Free parking.

Special Event for Moms: Whole Foods Rookwood Pavilion 10am-12pm

Moms come take a break and indulge in a brunch, tea tastings, facials or mini-massages, a fashion show, door prizes for some, gift bags for all! Childcare will be provided! Hurry and register because there are only spots for 50 Moms!

Cost is $5 with all proceeds benefiting a local charity benefiting Moms.

Metroparks: International Migratory Bird Day 7am-1pm

Butler County Metroparks is putting on quite an event for International Migratory Bird Day. There will be several activities and demonstrations, including birds of prey demonstrations, bird games and crafts, hikes and a birding 101 lesson.

The event is Free!

My Cincinnati House Series: The Boulter House

Come to the downtown Cincinnati Public Library on Saturday to see and hear a presentation on The Boulter House of Clifton by the current owners of the home. This home is one of the last designed by modernist architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The presentation will take place on the 3rd floor of the Main Library in the Genealogy & Local History section.

Mount Adams Art Walk 12pm-6pm

Over 100 area artist’s work will be displayed, hosted by 18 of Mount Adams original establishments. The walk is Free, but there will be drinks, food and music to purchase along the way. The weather looks like it may hold out for this event, but it will go on rain or shine!
