Hidden Valley Fruit Farm: The Grape Escape Sat-Mon 11am-5pm

Come out to Hidden Vally Fruit Farm this weekend for homemade grape juice, fresh picked grapes and a chance to pick your own! There will be train rides, music and fun for the whole family at the Farm up in Lebanon!

Mitchell Memorial Forest Stone Shelter: Raptors Sat-Mon 12pm-4pm

A variety of local and native raptors will be on exhibit during the holiday weekend. Some of the birds on exhibit will be provided by RAPTOR, Inc., a local organization with a mission to rescue and rehabilitate injured and orphaned birds of prey. Cameras and sketchpads are welcome.

Hamilton County Parks vehicle permit required. $10 Annual; $3 Daily.

Friday

Cincinnati Art Museum: Art After Dark, Modern Spirits 5pm-9pm

Come the the Cincinnati Art Museum for Final Friday this evening. Enjoy music by Baoku & the Image Afro-beat Band, a musical combination of western jazz with African instruments and languages. Musical entertainment will take place and roving docents will be in the special exhibition, Henry Ossawa Tanner: Modern Spirit 6pm-8pm. The event is Free, a cash bar and appetizers will be available for purchase. Parking is $4, free for members.

Saturday

Home Depot: Kids Workshop 9am-12pm

Kids ages 5-12 will learn to  build their own goal post football game at Home Depot this Saturday. Kids can paint and add embellishments to their projects while at the workshop. All kids get to keep their craft and receive a Free Kids Workshop Apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement. Safety goggles and tools will be provided.

Cincinnati Art Museum: Family First Saturday “Movin’ and Groovin’” 12pm-4pm

September’s Family First Saturday at the Art Museum features dancing. Complete a scavenger hunt through the galleries and stop to visit with local artists along the way. Enjoy special performances and don’t forget to stop in Artworld to make your very own artwork.

Sharon Woods Sharon Centre: Tree ID 9am

Our local forests contain a huge variety of trees and shrubs. Learn how to identify a number of them using several characteristics and tips given by the naturalist on a short hike. I have always wanted to learn more about identifying local trees!

Hamilton County Parks vehicle permit required. $10 Annual; $3 Daily.

WEBN Fireworks: Riverfront 9:05pm

People from all over the country come to see the WEBN Fireworks every year. It’s a great show that locals have enjoyed for many years. Read the FAQ page for frequently asked questions. Go down early if you plan to watch from the riverfront on either the Ohio or Kentucky side. Alternatively watch the fireworks from many vantage points on both sides of the river…or on TV at home if you don’t want to deal with parking or the crowds. Fireworks start promptly at 9:05pm rain or no rain.

Clermont County Airport: Bluegrass Concert & Fireworks 6:30pm & 8pm

The annual Free bluegrass concert at the Clermont County Airport starring the Comet Bluegrass All Stars will begin at 6:30pm. The concert is followed by Rozzi’s fireworks at 8pm. Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets and coolers!
