
Summer 2012 has many options for folks who live in the Cincinnati Area or are just passing through to catch free and discounted movies. Lots of area parks have free family movie nights and several theaters offer free to deeply discounted movie screenings.
Matinee shows before 12pm each day are $1 at Danbarry Cinemas. Theaters locations include Cincinnati Mills, Eastgate and Turfway.
Free P & PG-rated movies are available Monday and Wednesday mornings through August 16th.
Free PG-rated movies play on Mondays and Thursdays through August 9th at 10am. Doors open at 9:30am. Locations in the Cincy area are: Florence 14, Milford 16, West Chester 18 and Western Hills 14.
Discount Days run in select cities. Theaters in the area include Florence 14: $6 Wednesdays, Milford 16: $6 Tuesdays, West Chester 18: $5 Tuesdays and Western Hills 14: $5 Tuesdays.
One dollar G or PG rated movies play Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10am through August 8th at Deerfield Towne Center Stadium 16 in Mason.
Come to a variety of township, city and county parks around town for Free Family Movies. Be sure to bring chairs and blankets, perhaps a picnic basket with drinks and snacks is in order as well!
Free Movies on Fridays start at dusk at the Beech Acres Park Amphitheater. Pre-shows by the Cincinnati Circus Co. start at 7:30pm.
Movies take place at Bellevue Downtown Park at Dusk on Tuesdays. There are pre-movie activities planned before each movie, so come down early, stake your ground and have some fun. The movies schedule is:

Fountain Square Movie Night takes place each Sunday at 7pm on the big screen at Fountain Square.
Fairfield Movies in the Park take place the first Friday of the month. The Fairfield Fire Department will also have pre-show fun for the entire family. All movies begin at dusk at Village Green Park.
Free Family Movies are every other Friday night at sunset behind the garages at the Community Center, 300 George St. Popcorn, sno-cones, water and pizza from Harrison’s La Rosa’s are provided while supplies last. Please bring a canned good for the local food pantry.
Come enjoy this newly opened and renovated park in Downtown Cincinnati right across from Music Hall! This is a unique Free Movie venue because it features movies for adults! Yay! Arrive at 7pm.
Free family movies begin at 8:45pm at the Keehner Park Amphitheatre on Barret Rd. in West Chester. Movies to be announced. Movie dates: Fri July 27, Aug 24 and Sept 28.
Movies begin at Dusk on July 21 & Aug 11. Bring the family to an outdoor movie experience in the park. Viewers should bring lawn chairs and/or blankets and insect repellent. Popcorn and water will be available for purchase.
