Ham and Cheese Pinwheels Recipe

Summer time barbecues and gatherings with friends and family to me mean tons of delicious finger foods. One of our favorite foods to make and enjoy are these easy and yummy Ham & Cheese Tortilla Pinwheels.

My favorite thing about these is how easy they are to adapt to your taste buds. If you have picky eaters these are great for them too. You can add or subtract ingredients to please their tastes.

I love the fact that I can split the mix and put the spicier salsa in mine and the mild salsa in the rest so both myself and my children can enjoy them. Even better if you have vegetarians in attendance you can easily leave out the ham and have them with just the cheese and veggies.

Ham and Cheese Pinwheels Ingredients

  • 6, Large Flour Tortillas
  • 6 oz, Sliced Deli Ham or Turkey
  • 1 (8 oz), Cream Cheese Block
  • ½ cup, Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/8 cup, Chopped Black Olives
  • ½ cup, Salsa
  • 8-10 sprigs, Fresh Cilantro

Ham and Cheese Pinwheels Directions

  1. Mix softened cream cheese, salsa, cheddar cheese and black olives until well blended and smooth. May use hand mixer if desired.
  2. Spread 2 Tablespoons of mixture on flour tortillas. Sprinkle top with chopped fresh cilantro.
  3. Top with sliced ham or turkey.
  4. Roll tortilla and slice into pinwheels using serrated.
  5. Chill and serve with extra salsa for dipping.
