I first learned of the Christian music artist, Plumb, at a MOPS convention in 2009. I had no idea who this artist was, but she sang so many amazing songs powerfully that spoke to me during a season of challenge. Her music, and her story, ministered to me so much. Her songs are so raw and true (and awesome!).

I’ve met many celebrities in the past 5 years as a blogger, and I can say that Plumb (whose real name is Tiffany) is as authentic as they come. Although, when she reads this she will most like guffaw at me referring to her as a celebrity :) During that event, I remember her taking so much time talking to every single fan going through her line sharing about life, Jesus and fashion ( I remember her telling a younger fan that she purchased that outfit from Forever 21).
In talking to a few people who know her personally, this is exactly who she is in real life too. She loves the Lord, her family and her music. It’s so obvious in her new album “Need You Now” where she shares the good and bad that has happened in her life through music. Her family has gone through some major attacks over the past year. They have overcome, and are a testimony to God’s faithfulness.
I’ve listened to all of the songs on the album, “Need You Now” and know that it will be on constant repeat in my van, and on my computer while I’m working during the day. I’ve been a HUGE fan of the single titled “Need You Now.” In fact, I believe I tweeted Plumb and begged her to get this single on iTunes as soon as she could since I wanted to download it and play it on repeat. It hasn’t gotten old, and I doubt that it will ever. It’s one of those songs that you turn out super loud and let it soak into your bones as you talk with God. And cry.
To me, “Beautiful” is also about how God looks at us as his daughter’s (and sons) and tells us that despite what we’ve done, we are beautiful to Him. He wants us no matter what we have done. His words are perfect to whatever we are going through. He holds us tight and doesn’t want to let us go, no matter what. We don’t deserve Him whatsoever, yet by Grace, we get Him. All of Him. That is such a powerful reminder to help you through trials in life…or just a day’s work. You can listen to “Beautiful” in the video above.

Need You Now
I bought “Need You Now” on iTunes
I love Need You Now. This song really resonates with my mom right now. She wasn’t there for us kids growing up, but our relationship has been restored. However, my mom has had a hard tike forgiving herself for this. I can appreciate music that helps with healing in these situations.
Love the new single. Brings me to tears..
The song I really can connect to is “Need You Now (How Many Times)”. Lately, my life has been full of many things that have caused me to rely on God this song is the cry of my heart, as I am sure many, many others. It reminds me I’m not alone I’m hardship, and most important that God is with me and will help me when I call on Him and don’t rely on myself to fix things.
The title track is my fav.
Unfortunately I haven’t had the opportunity to hear all of the new album, but I have been a Plumb fan for about 15 years. Every song seems to come straight from her heart and speaks of her personal life in a way that not many artists are willing to share.
I listen to plumb on Air1 radio station. Need you now is very deeply felt. Love her music
