Easy Workout Phone/MP3 Player Armband Holder DIY

MP3 Player Holder DIY

I try my hardest to get to the gym most weekdays and once during the weekend. I admit I am not a body builder but do love a good workout session with tunes or a good book blaring through my headphones to get me motivated.  I find it obscene , and simply gross, to tuck my phone in my sports bra.  Also,  being thrifty prevents me from dropping $30 on a sassy phone armband holder. I stumbled along this super snazzy idea and had to try it!

Workout Phone Holder Supplies Needed

:: Scissors
:: Needle & Thread *optional*
:: Old Long Tube Sock

DIY Steps

{Step 1} Begin by cutting off the toe base from the sock.

{Step 2} Turn the sock inside out and pull the top up to your bicep.

{Step 3} Fold the bottom up to meet the top so the sock is on right side up.

{Step 4}  Mark where it is on your arm and slide it off to make a vertical stitch for a “permanent pocket” for your phone. (this step is purely optional)

VIOLA! You can choose any style, color for this accessory that didn’t cost you a dime!

Project Cost

All materials should be around the house and will only cost you just a few minutes of time at the most! However, if you do not have a tube  sock, you can find them at the Dollar stores or any retail store.  I would check the clearance section.

    This is an awesome idea! I’ve been needing one of these but I don’t work out enough to spend much money on one!
