Stretch Your Bar Soap Without Frustration!

The following Everyday Savings Tip comes from, Juli of Bargain Believer:

Why throw away the end of your bar soap or frustrate yourself trying to use it? When a bar of soap is getting too thin and small to use, I simply get out a new bar and press the old one on top of it. It works best if you “seal” it by pressing firmly around the perimeter of the smaller bar. It dries together well, if left overnight. Simple and frugal!

  1. I used to do that. Now I have one of those little soap saver scrubbie bags. You can get much smaller slivers in there and the scrubbie has a nice scrubbie effect on my skin. You can get them for $1-$2.
