The following Everyday Savings Tip comes from, Janet:
I am always looking for ways to teach my children how to be creative with recycled materials. Last summer I started saving the dryer lint in a gallon baggie. Several months later we had a large bag of clean stuffing.
Using the lint, a fews old socks and mismatched buttons we made sock puppets and stuffed dolls. A fews hours of craft time with my girls, free toys and a lesson on using what you have on hand. Priceless!
