  1. I have seen this all over Pinterest, and when I had buttermilk I realized I had decluttered my ice cube trays when we got our ice maker. I almost ran to the Dollar store to get more. But then looking through my cupboards, I realized I had silicone cupcake liners.

They hold 1/4 cup – great size for my Buttermilk use. I put the liners in a cake pan, filled them, put the pan in the freezer overnight and then popped the buttermilk disks out of the liners and into a freezer bag.
