Use Higher Value Coupons at Big Box Stores

The following Everyday Savings Tip comes from Krista:

I typically shop at Kroger and always use my coupons up to $0.99 there so that I can get double their worth. However I save my “bigger” coupons, the ones worth $1 and up, and use them at big box stores.

Sometimes the price is cheaper at a big box store like Walmart versus Kroger. I can save more by shopping there with a lower price AND not lose out on the doubling that Kroger offers since the coupon value is $2.

To save even more, I only shop for what I need. I make a list of what I am going into the store for and have my coupons paper clipped to the list. I only buy what is ON the list!!
