Save Money by Using Paper Plates

The following Everyday Savings Tip comes from, Sarah of Making Cooley Stuff:

I know it sounds crazy, but using paper plates actually saves me money. I have read in many sources that it costs approximately 2 cents to wash one dish. You can buy paper plates for 1 cent each, or even less.

For example, Walgreens will frequently have a 100 pack of paper plates for $0.99. These sometimes go on sale for $0.79. If you are worried about the paper plates being sturdy enough, you can buy paper plate holders for fairly cheap.

We also know that time is money (especially for those of us who work in other places). Think about how much time you will save by not having those extra dishes to wash!
