How to Cut Laundry Expenses

Although water is probably your biggest expense in doing laundry, detergent and dryer sheets can also add up. To reduce these expenses, reduce the amount of detergent you use each load. You can often use half the amount the bottle recommends (except with heavily soiled loads.) You can also cut dryer sheets in half and only use one half per load. You get the same benefits but at half the cost.
