Giveaway: Makes Packing Lunch Easy with Easy Lunchboxes {Closed}

I will be packing our boys’ lunch a lot more this year. So when I talked to Easy Lunchboxes about reviewing their products, I was stoked to get to have on of our school items marked off our list. And, several other reasons too.

Easy Lunchboxes are just that – easy. Created by Kelly (also author of the new book, Easy Lunch Boxes – Cooking with Trader Joe’s Cookbook), they were created with simplicity in mind. And her vision is helping many parents pack healthy meals for their favorite lil’ people. And save money.

Our school lunch is $2.30. Multiply that by roughly 280 days of the year the boys are in-school. Times that by 3 children and the $2.30 lunch price and that that is around $2,000! That’s quite the chunk of change, huh? Well, knowing our boys would have basic school lunches like pretzels with cheese (how that is even a suitable lunch, I’ll never know) or be lured to purchase those extra snacks, I decided to pack their lunches again this year. Well, I say “I” but it will really be them.

I had our boys make a list of items they would want on a regular basis to be in their lunches. From that, I created bins in the house that they can choose one from. They can obviously make a sandwich (or we can wrap up some leftovers) for them to eat the next day. I’ll be putting all of those items neatly in our Easy Lunchboxes pack and cooler and they can eat a much better meal and momma saves money – we all win!

I’m so excited to have (1) Easy Lunchboxes Containers and Cooler to give away!

The only required method to enter the giveaway is with a comment, so…

    I don’t pack for school because she’s not in school yet but I do pack lunches at least 3 or 4 times a week for our playground trips or for going to the beach or just for long walks to awesome looking places in the woods near our home. We like finding pretty areas to have picnics :P

    We homeschool, and I haven’t packed lunches for my kids for a couple of years now, but these would be great for our field trips and day trips. Also, I’d like to have a more streamlined day, and “packing” up the lunches the night before might make for an easier school day!

    Packing lunch is a necessity at our house. My husband hasn’t had a paycheck in over a month. We currently use plastic bags that I get from the grocery store for lunches. They are free and kinda work ok. That tote looks awesome! Sandwiches tend to get squished… I really enjoy your site!

    I will be packing lunches daily. My child is starting a new alternative school & they dont have a school lunch program, but they do have access to microwaves which is great! So we will be making lunches, experimenting with what to take & what she will eat. Evidently its weird to eat in front of other people in high school… I’m betting hunger will over rule that notion, but who knows.

    I pack lunches for my 2 girls at least 4 out of 5 days a week. They can pick one hot lunch at school/week. Their hot lunches are $2.10 each. I can make lunches cheaper than that and I can also know what they are eating instead of guessing at the end of the day when I ask them, I can see what was left. When they eat hot lunch, I don’t have a very clear idea of what they actually ate.

    I would love to have one of these for my son’s school lunches. We pack about half the month and he buys ont he days the menu sounds appealing. He needs to gain some weight so we try to do whichever will get more calories into him! :)

    I only have one so I have found it easier to just let her buy, however this year she has told me she wants to pack!

    I pack a lunch at least once a week for each child. They enjoy taking it.

    I don’t pack their lunches all that often during the school year but would if I had something neat like this and they would be eating more healthy too. We pack almost every day for the summer and this would have made life easy I can tell you that. What a great product.

    With 3 kids of my own all in school it is not cheap! I was just looking at these lunch boxes a few days ago for my youngest 2! They both love to take their lunches to school as much as possible & these would be perfect for them! On Average they both take their lunch at least 2 days a week. Sometimes more :)
