One of the ways to save for back to school supplies is to shop at the drugstores. I love being able to get rewarded for items I need to purchase and turn around to use the rewards for more items we need that may not offer coupons or great savings. Well, CVS is one of those places to consider shopping this back to school season.
CVS carries a large variety of school supplies. And better yet – they offer rewards on those items too! But, even if they didn’t, you can purchase several weekly ExtraBucks Rewards items and turn around to spend those rewards on your school supplies. It’s pretty much that simple. You may even have extra money to stock up on extras so you can replenish the supplies during the year (without paying full price of course).
CVS also offers several brands that are exclusive CVS brand products. You’ll notice Just the Basics, Caliber, Gold Emblem when you’re in the store. These are on average 30% less expensive than the national brand equivalents.

We’re just starting the school phase, pre-school for my little guy! He’s anxious to start school; me – not so much! :-)
I have three kiddos, two girls and one boy. My girls attend the same elementary school, one will be entering the 4th grade, the other the 2nd grade. My son is 4 and will be repeating pre-K at a private school in the neighborhood.
I look forward to all kiddos attending the same school next year, I remember when I made 3 stops, daycare, private school, and public school. It was a mess!
