Ways to Maximize Store Fuel Rewards

The following Everyday Savings Tip comes from, Helene :

When you purchase a gift card at Kroger, you receive double¬†points for the gas program. I purchase gift cards for wherever I’m spending my money. We needed at washer so I purchased gift cards at Kroger for Lowe’s to buy the washer.

Kroger will also offer quadruple fuel points which is really great. I get my RX’s fill and receive 50 points for each, sometimes they give 100 points for RX’s. I also purchase stamps at Kroger for the fuel points. Every little bit adds up!

Also, always fill up with 2 cars and get 35 gallons to make the most of your savings. I save anywhere from $35 (one tank) to $75 (two tanks) per month.

Okay, I have a stupid question…how do you fill up 2 cars?
We’ve tried before to have my husband in line behind me to pull up next but the local Krogers stopped us saying it was a safety violation & that the pump MUST be hung up while the cars switch out.
Well once you hang up the pump you lose the points because it’s considered a new fill up

Pull on each side of a pump. Also, we have taken empty gas cans and first filled the vehicle and then used the rest in our cans.
