Save by Trading DVD’s Instead of Buying

The following Everyday Savings Tip comes from, Sarah of Making Cooley Stuff:

Our family has a few hundred DVDs. My husband and I both had quite a collection when we got married, then when we merged them, it was out of control. We were constantly getting rid of old DVDs and buying new ones. Several years later, add a toddler to the mix who is into everything, and you can imagine how many more DVDs we had to purchase.

I recently discovered SwapADVD.com, where you can post DVDs that you no longer want, and then in turn you can choose one that you do want. You only pay the postage to mail the DVD when someone selects it.

SwapADVD.com also has sister sites that are worth checking our for trading books and CD's: PaperBackSwap.com and SwapACD.com. Do you have any experience with any of these sites too?
