Save on Buying Bread and Snacks

The following Everyday Savings Tip comes from, Marilyn:

I hate paying $1 or more for a loaf of bread. So once a month, I visit a bread store about 45 minutes from me. They have bread super cheap.

I make lunches for my husband and 3 boys. We go through about 30 slices of bread a week. Each trip I will purchase 10 loaves and only pay $8. I can get 5 loaves for $3.74. And then I will freeze it.  And it keeps my family in bread all month.

This bread store also sells Hostess snack cakes, and they usually run around $5/7 items. Depending on what you buy, this could make for some cheap snacks and bread for the entire month. The only thing is though they don't take coupons. But for as cheap as they are, I don't need to use coupons.
