The following Everyday Savings Tip comes from, Patty:
As a family we reuse our bath towels for about a week before washing them. We hang them up every day to dry thoroughly and since they were used to dry a clean body, they stay fresh. I also use quick drying towels which helps them dry faster on the rack and in the dryer.
We also try to wear pants and over-clothes (sweaters, etc.) for more than one day. If we haven’t done anything to get dirty or sweaty, we wear them again. This makes for fewer loads of laundry which saves water, soap, and time.
