Be Prepared and Carry Coupons

The following Everyday Savings Tip comes from, Shereen:

Always bring your coupons with you no matter where you go. I can not tell you how many times I have found something on clearance at Target. Between Target printable coupons and manufacturer coupons, the item ends up being FREE. I used to only carry my coupons when I went grocery shopping but now I carry them everywhere just because you never know -)

  1. I carry my coupons in an old check box (remember those from the 50’s and 60’s that your parents or grandparents kept their yearly returned checks (yes the bank used to return your cancelled checks to you) in. It is about the size of a shoe box but covered in leather. I totally love it. I have labeled the months into food items like Dairy, Frozen, etc. I have way to many coupons for a binder so this works better for me. My friends and neighbors give me their coupons so I am always swimming in coupons. Don’t forget to mail your expired ones to the military overseas. I do this every two or three months as they can use them up to six months after expiration.
I always carry mine in the car (I organize and sorth through them during lunch at work) so that I can always go back out to the car to get it if I need it. I have gotten so many mark down items free this way.
