Have you missed anything lately? I’ve had a few people email and ask why we weren’t posting on Facebook anymore. While I did mention that we were going to start selectively posting on Facebook again, that hasn’t started yet. What has changed is that Facebook decided to update things ONCE AGAIN and that has caused Savings Lifestyle to no longer show in your regular news feed.

It’s ok though. You can find us again easily.

I created the above video you can watch to walk you through the steps. For your convenience I’ve also listed the steps below as well.

1. Visit this link to create a list for you to see Savings Lifestyle (and anyone else) specifically.
2. Select “Create a List”
3. Name your list.
4. Click “add people” to add people to the list.
5. In the left hand corner, click the drop down arrow and select Pages and type in Savings Lifestyle to the search bar.
6. Select the Savings Lifestyle logo and scroll down to click Done.

Congrats – you have made your first list in Facebook! :)

Now, if you want to keep the list at eye level so it’s easier to click on, select the little pencil next to the list name you created. Click “Add to Favorites.” Now it will be up at the top left under your Favorite items. Whenever you want to quickly see what we’ve posted, just select that list and we will be there!

And if you haven’t “liked” us yet, you can do that by clicking the “like” button right above. And if you cannot see the video at the top or the like button, click this link to see this post on the site and all of those images will magically appear :-).

As an update to this, Facebook NOW also requires you mark the pages that you willingly liked to show in your Facebook stream. To ensure you can even see our updates when you create that list, click on the “Liked” button on the Savings Lifestyle Facebook page and select “Show in News Feed” as shown below. Facebook may not show you the posts unless you do this.
