Reuse Greeting Cards to Save Money

The following Best Savings Tip comes from reader, Barry:

Anytime I receive Christmas cards, birthday cards or any other greeting cards for special occasions, I tear off the front of the card if the sender hasn't written on the other side. I recycle the other part, and I use the front of the card to attach to gifts with ribbon as a card or gift tag.

This especially works well for Christmas presents so I don't have to buy gift tags. It also works well for children's' presents, since they really don't care about cards, anyway! Greeting cards are so expensive, so it could save you quite a bit each holiday season, in particular!
