The following Best Savings Tip comes from reader, Stephanie:
I had a ton of Huggies Wipes Tubs that I just couldn’t bring myself to throw away. They are so practical and I knew they could be used for SOMETHING.
So now I store all my kids crayons, markers and pencils in a tub. I have extra tubs to pack my husbands lunch in (he thought he would get made fun of by his co-workers, but they actually thought it was a good idea too!). The tub works great because it can be refrigerated. It has a lid so he won’t lose it. And it’s not a problem if he forgets it at work or loses it. It’s more durable than ziploc containers so I love it!
I also use old tubs to pack lunch for the kids on outings. It fits perfectly in our bag and I dont have to worry about the sandwiches getting smashed. Plus, I pack another one with ice in it with our fruit and veggie snacks. It surprisingly doesnt leak and its worked out great, I even have my friends doing it now.

I reuse our tubs too but hadn’t thought of those ideas! I mainly use our old tubs for cosmetics and travel. You are right in that they don’t leak. I had a container of lotion spill inside the tub and my clothes were still dry!
Of course you can also reuse old tubs to hold more baby wipes. Check out the Homemade Baby Wipes DIY to find out how to make your own!
