Kroger Deals: Purina Beggin Strips Money Maker

I reported earlier this week that you can pick up FREE Purina Beggin Strips this week at Kroger if your store allows the use of a B1G1 coupon with a B1G1 sale.  That deal just got a lot sweeter with a catalina that is in effect for Purina pet products.  Here is how you can turn this freebie into a money maker:

B1G1 Purina Beggin Strips, 6 oz
::: $3 Catalina WYB $25 – $29.99 in Product :::
::: $5 Catalina WYB $30 + in Product:::
B1G1 Purina Beggin Products 5/8/2011 SS Insert (exp 8/8/2011)
Net Price FREE + Up to a $5 Money Maker!

Thanks, Kathryn!

    I am new to Catalinas, so I hope you can help. (Please!) I was very excited about getting inexpensive on Beggin Strips, and headed to Kroger (in Richmond VA) this morning. They were all out of the BYGO, but on an end cap they had the same treats marked on sale for $1.99. (50% off of the reg. price the BYGO was at). I had enough coupons to get 14 bags and calculated the total price to be $27.86, which would qualify me for a $3 catalina. After she rang all of the treats up, I gave the cashier my Kroger card, then my coupons. On my reciept it shows the total as $16.26. The catalina would be a seperate sheet of paper, right? I don’t see anything different on my receipt. It’s still a good deal, but I wouldn’t have bought so many bags if I hadn’t been getting the catalina. Any suggestions would be really helpful.

    Thanks in advance!

      Yes, the catalina is a coupon that prints for you after you pay. I am wondering if there was another deal running on the treats that you bought because it sounds like at the $1.99 price you bought well enough to qualify. Did they individually ring up $1.99 each? If they did, you can contact catalina marketing with your receipt information and they can mail you the catalina if you met all the requirements. Their number is: 1-877-210-1917. HTH!
