This is so fun and yet another reason I’m excited to be helping Operation Christmas Child promote this year!
Do you ever wonder where your boxes are going? You fill ‘em up, say your prayers and send them away. Last year Operation Christmas Child implemented box tracking. If you pay your $7 shipping amount via EZPay, you receive a special barcode to include on your box and you can track it to the final destination. We didn’t do that last year, but we plan to this year with all of the boxes we are shipping.
But that’s not necessarily what I’m excited about!!
What if you shared your Operation Christmas Child story. Whether it was you helping to inform others, video of you packing your boxes or a packing party that is popular. Or, even sharing what Operation Christmas child means to you to inspire others to act and give. Wouldn’t it be cool to have one place on the web to see and hear these stories? Operation Christmas Child has now created ShoeTube where you can do just that! So, share away with your stories for any of those areas I mentioned above and submit your video to ShoeTube. It’s simple to do just like any other video upload site. And, the best part…. are you ready?????

Sure, tracking your box with a barcode is pretty cool, but you could track your box in real time because it will be in your hands until it enters the hands of the little one who will receive it if you win!! So obviously I’m excited about this for you because this is an amazing opportunity to share about something that is so worthy AND it gives you a chance to possibly win a trip to deliver boxes. Seriously, can you even imagine what that experience would be like??!!

Hello there! My name is John, and I was online reading blogs about Operation Christmas Child. I came across your blog and saw what you wrote about OCC. I’m a recording artist, and Operation Christmas Child is one of my favorite things to be involved with each year. I’ve been trying do my part as an artist by letting all of my fans know how they can be involved. So I made a video about OCC and how to pack a box, and they I sent it out to my entire mailing list. I also have been promoting it as much as I can from my Facebook fan page, writing about it on Twitter, posting on my blog, and by teaming up with radio stations that play my music.
