My favorite steal this week was getting Ore-Ida potatoes (all sorts of varieties) from Safeway for only $0.49 per bag! I wrote the details in this post… http://www.mominmanagement.com/934/ore-ida-potatoes-only-0-49-at-safeway/

I also hit Sunflower Market for aspargus ($1.99/lb) and 93% fat free ground beef ($1.99/lb) and peaches ($0.57/lb).

Finally, I was pretty excited about Chili’s paying all it’s profits today to St Jude’s. This wasn’t my deal – but it was certainly A deal for kids in need…

A full size bottle of John Frieda shampoo for free at Ulta. My husband experienced the wonders of couponing firsthand when we walked out of the store having each scored a full size bottle of hair product for nothing. He couldn’t believe it!

    1. Gymboree clothing from thredup.com–with a coupon code, it cost me only $12.56 for a box of good used clothing.
    2. Money-making Olay deal at Rite Aid. I got a cleanser, a moisturizer and an eye roller and buy using, RA coupons, manu coupons and a $5/$25 coupon, I made $6.
    3. Money-making deal at Rite Aid on Gillette body wash, Gillette deodorant and Old Spice deodorant and body spray. I bought 8 total items, used manu coupons (Bogos and $1 off coupons) and a $5/$25 coupon I made about $3.
    4. I would have said the toothbrush deal at CVS but of course my store wasn’t stocked with them…
    5. Zone Perfect bars at Giant food. They retail for $1.25 but I used 55c coupons that doubled to $1.10 off. I buy extra coupons from Dede’s Coupons and Things for 8c each meaning I pay 23c for each Zone bar. And they taste good!

    1. Walgreens — Buy 2 Pantene Restoratives shampoos at $4 each, use 2 $2/1 coupons, the register takes off $2 because it’s a BOGO 50% off item, and it prints a $2 RR. $8 -$4 -$2 -$2 = Free shampoo.
    2. Meijers — $3 catalina on a $10 purchase of Scott toilet paper.
    3. Meijers — Kraft cheese on sale, plus I used the $5/5.
    4. Meijers — this one isn’t a deal exactly but I wanted to share it anyway. When I checked out, none of my catalinas printed. I asked the cashier and he realized the machine was jammed… so he had a manger print me out a coupon for the values of the catalinas that should have printed. I was SO impressed and will definitely be making Meijers one of my regular stops.

My Family and I love Fall. I would have to say the #1 thing that is free is the weather , the fresh air of opening our windows. Even when it is 50 degrees outside ( like now) I can crack ALL of my house windows. We air out our house, and enjoy the crisp ,cool air and the smell of the season changing!! If you go on the website of your local paper, there are so many free hing to to do. Festivals, fairs, and so any things for kids to enjoy while you sit and watch them. Enjoy the weather!!!
