Mary, I know I love going to the Gap Outlet but we don’t have one really near us either. I usually have to make a planned trip to go. Unfortunately I don’t know how much the coupon is worth, the email says 10%, 15%, 30%, or 60% off. It would make a fun trip to hit all the outlet stores with a couple of friends, if you have time this weekend.

So, I go into Meijers this AM all prepped to save lots with my coupons and “painfully” prepared list in hand only to have the cashier NOT scan the coupons very carefully and thus I kNow that she didn’t take off at least 3 of them!!!! Is it silly to be UPSET about this matter, I feel like I should just “let go of it” and move on, but wanted to know if anyone else has had a similar experience??? There’s really not a way to physically watch the cashier do each coupon and it’s not til after the transaction that I noted this and how then can you walk back in and confront here????? One of the coupons was a good one too, the Kraft $5 deal!!!!! I’m almost pledging to not do deals with my coupons only becasuse of the savings and shop exclusively at Aldi’s where the savings are good even without clipping!!! Thoughts from you and all others would be appresiated!!!! Thanks for letting me UPLOAD !!!!!!! LOVe your work!!! ND

Nancy, this has happened to me on several occasions. It’s really hard to try to watch and make sure all coupons are scanned. Sometimes they just stick together too. And, put in the fact that when I take my kids, well, I’m lucky to watch anything except for my children grabbing all the candy there!! But, honestly if this has ever happened, and it has by accident, I just visit the customer service desk afterwards and share my concern about the coupon not being scanned. They have always taken my word and given me credit. I’m not guaranteeing that would be the case for everyone, but you could try it. The true way they could find this out is by removing the coupons from the coupon drawer and reviewing each one by one against what was credited on your receipt. I’m guessing the store prefer not take that approach, and will likely want to take your word.

But, your toughts on Aldi is totally true. Love going to there and saving and only having to remember my quarter and my bags!
