Hi! Did they let you use the coupon on the Everyready? Is Everready an energizer brand?

    Yea! Thank you so much!

I read this coupon and looked at the flashlight tonight at the store, and I think this isn’t right. Energizer is the Parent Company of Eveready, but it’s also the Parent Company of other brands like Playtex, Hawaiian Tropic, Schick, and of course, Energizer. The coupon specifically states Energizer Brand Batteries or Energizer Brand Flashlights. There are also Energizer Brand Flashlights sold with the actual Energizer Brand on the front packaging with no other Brands. You could pick up a can of Skintimate Shave Gel, and it says Energizer Personal Care on the back. So, if Skintimate made batteries or a flashlight, would you use this coupon on that because it’s an Energizer Brand? The first set of 5 digits on the coupon match both Energizer and Eveready, but I don’t think that this coupon was meant for that brand. Eveready is AN Energizer Brand, but it’s not THE Energizer Brand. That’s my personal opinion.

Stacy, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I don’t agree with them, but that’s ok. Eveready is a brand of a flashlight manufactured by Energizer. I do use the coupons the way they are intended so I believe that the way I am suggesting folks use the coupon on the Eveready flashlight is ethical and allowed. Also, I never look at the bar code the way you mention it. That has nothing to do with how I redeem coupons. I go by the language on the coupon. Thanks for commenting!
