Once a Month Mom

Tricia is a personal friend and does a FANTASTIC job in helping to make freezer cooking work for you ^[18]. She has all of of the measurements, the lists, the labels, you name it for your freezer cooking day. And, she creates a new menu each month for you. Seriously, the only other thing she could do is to come to your house and do a Freezer Day with you. A girl can dream, can’t she?? :)

My fave-of-all-time freezer recipe Tricia shares is her Banana Sour Cream Muffins ^[19]. I make ‘em all the time. As a matter of fact, I need to make another batch.

$5 Dinners

Erin’s my friend and she makes good food on a budget ^[20]. Seriously, I’ve been to her house and eaten a few $5 meals :) She has a great recipe index ^[21] to get inspiration as well. She also has some good recipes for baby food. The yummy pasta ^[1] picture above is hers. Yeah, I’m drooling too!

Lynn’s Recipe Adventures

Lynn has a lot of recipes that are to help with allergies: gluten free, nuts, peanuts. All of her recipes look delish. I have so many in my virtual recipe box. Her recipes are indexed by category ^[22] so they are easy to browse for meal ideas.

Cooking During Stolen Moments

Kate’s recipes are so simple and easy to make ^[23]. She has so many recipes to choose from to for your own menu plan. Kate is selling an ebook now with 110 Breakfast Recipes ^[23] for just $3.97! The price is actually just $3.97 when you click to order (not the price listed on the page). A great deal and I can’t wait to go through my copy!

A Southern Fairytale

What can I say about Rachel. She makes food that makes you drool by looking at it ^[24]. That is all. I mean, just look at this Penne Vodka with Chicken ^[25]. All of Rachel’s recipes are indexed too so you can quickly find more meals to inspire mealtime!

Kitchen Stewardship

When I started looking into more organic/natural cooking ^[26], I found Katie’s site. It is full of information on a natural food lifestyle with foods that actually taste good. I purchased her Healthy Snacks to Go ebook ^[27].

I haven’t actually tried anything yet because I got it right before the boys were out of school and well, I’ve had no time to make anything. But, there are tons of ideas and general tips on cooking with various ingredients that were all new to me (like soaking grains and the reason for doing it – who knew there were benefits for soaking grains).

Cooking with Caitlin

Not sure how I could forget my fellow Cincinnati.com LOL Bloggers!! Caitlin’s creations are so delicious and yummy ^[28]!! At the LOL Savings Summit she made some delicious recipes on a budget. I absolutely loved this yummy Asparagus Slaw ^[29] that served as an appetizer on a crostini. The recipes are also indexed and easy to find.

All Recipes

This is a great site to use to get meal ideas to empty your pantry ^[30]! Just type in various items you have to use and it will return results that include those ingredients. It’s a great way to use up your stockpile!

And, of course I use ZipList to put all the recipes from their sites into my virtual recipe box ^[31]. I still have my other recipe box ^[32] but I’m trying to transition everything to ZipList since there’s more features that help make menu planning easier.
