Time and time again,Walgreens denies my coupons if the coupon is more than the purchace price. i.e. the .99 cents Pilot pens with the $1/1 coupon. They claim their check out system wont accept it. Very frustrating.
I have decided to basically boycott walgreens for that exact reason. CVS is so much more coupon friendly, their customer service is a lot better, making it a nicer shopping experience. If I only had more time I would contact Walgreen’s corporate office and let them know just how I feel.
Walgreens will accept the dollar off 99cents … if you have your total over the amount. If you spend $1.25, it’ll take it then.But it has to be that way before taxes because of the federal law about taxes. I work for Walgreens, so I know how the system works. If it’s less we can no longer accept it because we will get written up/suspended for it, and so it’s really nothing against you or coupon users as long as the policy isn’t abused. We’re perserving our jobs.

The Starbucks coupon link is for $1 off of a 4-pack, will not work for this coupon offer.
I am not seeing how the Duracell batteries come out to be the $1.24 each? With the Walgreens coupons, they are $2.99/pack and with the $.75 off coupon added in, it doesn’t bring the price down to $1.24. Am I missing something? I went to buy these today and could not figure out how you could get them for that price. Thanks – just figured I was missing something on this one and can’t seem to figure it out. :)
