The hubs and I are self-confessed coffee lovers, so of course it was a delight for us to try out the new Toddy home brewing system by Seattle’s Best Coffee! I mean any excuse to drink coffee is a good excuse for us! We enjoyed trying it out together and are still enjoying the rich and smooth coffee, days later. Days later? Here, let me explain:
The Toddy home brewing system is a unique way of brewing coffee and produces a great cup of coffee! When I say unique, think french press meets conventional coffeemaker. Essentially, what is brewed is a coffee concentrate that can be stored in the fridge or freezer for up to 14 days. All you do is mix with hot milk or hot water to create your own individualized hot coffee creation. It is also easily adaptable for iced coffee creations with your favorite syrups and ice too. I have enjoyed both!! The thing I really enjoy, is that I don’t waste a drop! The size and proportions are easily adjustable to your taste and desires!

I used to work in a coffee shop that used a Toddy Maker and have been a lover ever since! I could never justify spending money on a Toddy Maker. My husband and I love to drink coffee together several times a day. He does not like cold coffee (even though I told him that he could drink it hot and it has less acid than hot brewed coffee so it would be easier on his belly) and refuses to give it a try. I broke down and decided to make some without a Toddy Maker a week and a half ago. It can be tricky and messy but oh so delicious! There is something to be said about the right tool for the right job! I drank my last bit yesterday with caramel syrup and skim milk. When I was younger and could afford the calories I would mix it with sweetened condensed milk, sweetened chocolate powder, milk and ice. Squirt on some whipped cream, drizzle with raspberry syrup and sprinkle with some of the chocolate. It is quite an indulgence! By the way, I started another batch this morning and hopefully I’ll have a little more success with the execution of it this time!
I’m a fan of coffee, pure and simple, so I love an Americano. My fiance is the opposite –he’ll put ANYTHING in there: syrups, sugars, various milk products, melted Peeps.
I love my coffee with some sugar, half & half & cinnamon sprinkled on top.

My favorite way to have coffee is to make a cup early in the morning and then sit out on the wooden steps with my back leaning up against our back door, listening to the birds in the trees around me, feeling the breeze on my skin, feeling at peace with myself and the world around me. Coffee goes down great any time of day (even surrounded by hectic shoppers at a mall), but just sitting outside with the sounds of nature around is my very favorite way to drink it.
I enjoy drinking my coffee early in the morning before any of the kids are up!

I love coffee any way I can get it! I just had a baby 4 days ago, so I’m in need of some serious caffeine (sleepless nights plus sleepless days taking care of my 4-and-2 year olds as well!). As long as I have coffeemate (plain or flavored) and some Splenda, I’m happy :)

If I’m out then it’s cream and sugar. If I’m home it’s usually sugar and vanilla caramel flavored creamer. I really like using the raw sugar to sweeten, but most of the time plain sugar does the trick.
I like to have my coffee different ways. I usually use splenda and non-dairy creamer. But I love to try any and all sugar-free syrups out there.
