My escapades to shop and save with my 3 kids. Oh, brother! Now I know why I never take my children shopping!!! I thought I would share how my shopping trip went today since it was ever so eventful!!
We get to Target, where they did have a few things in stock that was on my list. But, as I was walking to get the B1G1 Free Vanish Drop-Ins, Andon spewed everywhere!! LOVELY!!! I needed diaper wipes anyway so we walked over that way so I could pick up a few boxes. And, despite the barf smell on him still (luckily, I caught all of it in his shirt, which was thrown away), I was pleasantly surprised to find Pampers Wipes for $1.97! So I scored some FREE Wipes to clean up my smelly barfy boy :)

I was going to use the same $2/1 coupon above since it’s valid on Body Mist but I accidentally grabbed a Degree Mist NOT a Dove Mist (which is what the coupon is for). Oh well!

Vanish Drop-Ins
B1G1 Vanish Drop-Ins Continuous Toilet Bowl Cleaner, up to $3 value
STACK B1G1 Vanish Drop-Ins TARGET Coupon
I spent a total of $11.77 and I saved $26.91. I also had to purchase a new shirt for Andon at Target since the incident so that’s $5 of the total. After he was cleaned up, he was smelling pretty sweet thanks to the free wipes.

On to CVS we went. Hey, I made the effort to take all three boys to shop with me, I was not gonna let a little puke ruin this trip! In with our coupons – Andon carried the basket and Caleb carried my list. T was a shopping pooper and stayed in the van. The kid doesn’t get the thrill of saving a few bucks!
I did the other half of my CVS at another store with Jenny and Cortney after our Cassano’s Pizza VIP Party (the new Edge Pizza is delish – YUM!). I’m glad they were with me because I wouldn’t have looked for the CVS Diapers on clearance (75% off still). Those gals have some supa shopping skillz!! And, Cortney may or may not have taken all of the good coupons from the Magic Coupon Machine because it told me I was SHUT DOWN!! I only scanned my card once for the day too – BOO!

You are hilarious!! Thanks for keeping it real, I feel a lot better now. I bought the wrong deoderant last week at CVS and almost had a heart attack when the bill came to almost 20.00. I was so embarrased I went home and took it back the next day. (It really didn’t help that my 3yr.old kept pulling things off the shelf. HA.) Thanks again!
Christy, I was so annoyed when I walked out of Target getting the wrong body mist too. I figured, at least my kid didn’t puke all over the floor so I was fine with it! LOL
What Target had the $1.97 wipes? The Target’s I have checked are over $2, unless was it a sale?
TIA!
The Pampers wipes at the Target I went to were normal price too. The Huggies wipes were on sale. Oh well, I got a box of wipes for about .40. Still a good deal!
