Do the Kroger Catalinas you post apply to all Kroger stores? I went to my local Kroger on Sunday, and I only saw a couple of these catalinas posted on the shelf below the corresponding product. The ones I really wanted didn’t have a label about the catalina, so I passed on the opportunity, in fear of spending more money than I needed to if the catalina didn’t work. I asked a lady at customer service if they had a Catalina list, she said no and then asked me what a catalina was. I admit I didn’t know until about a week ago when I came across your site. So, thanks for all the good information! Also, I’ve noticed that some store ads are released early, but I can’t find the Kroger ad until late Saturday night. I do my shopping on Sunday, and it is hard to plan that quickly. I usually find posts about good deals later in the week that I missed out on. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I appreciate all your help!
Hi Kathy, most Kroger stores run the same promotions. There are very few times when it is regional, from what I have seen. Sometimes if the store doesn’t have the tag posted it’s because it’s just missing or maybe someone removed it. And, too funny on the CS not knowing what a Catalina is. They actually probably don’t and I have only found a handful of people state their store has the complete list at the customer service desk.
I know some areas also get the Kroger ad in their Friday home mailer (via RedPlum or a local supplemental paper delivery). I previous have received my ads on Saturday but am now receiving them on Friday’s so I can have them ready to share early on Saturday!! Since new weekly Kroger ads start on Sunday you could get the info and have your plan ready to shop early on Monday when the new ad starts. That’s part of why I like to release the information earlier for my readers. A little extra planning on the weekends is huge to a week full of busyness!!
