    Andrea,
My ad ….I’m in FF Twp so I’m local … shows the Nature Valley Granola Bars, Chex Mix Bars and Fiber One Bars priced at $2.29 not $2.99. There are coupons for $.40 off any one Nature Valley Granola Bars at Coupons.com and the same coupon ($.40/1) was in today’s Smart Source Insert. So with 4 $.40/1 coupons and after the catalina these come to only $.74/box! I have details here ….http://savingbitsandpieces.blogspot.com/2010/03/nature-valley-granola-bars-74-box.html

    Thanks for all you do!!

Becky, they sure are! My typo – thanks for catching that!

I saw a sign in Kroger today advertising a Catalina offer for Smart Ones entrees. I can’t remember the details, but I know that one exists – I’ll let you know if I find out more!

love your website. I went to frys today and My catalina for Fiber one printed, but I bought 4 fruit snacks and only $1.50 printed(just said general mills). Then I also bought 2 nature valley bars and 2 NV clusters. I wasn’t sure if that would add up to the 4 but even the 2 nvbars didn’t print $1. :( Do you if I can go to customer service and ask about the catlina deal or will they even know?

I am not aware of any Kroger catalina deals for dole canned fruit but today I bought 3 cans of dole mandarin oranges (on sale 10/$10) and got back a 50 cent catalina. Just wondering if anyone knows more about this or if you buy more than 3 you get a higher value catalina?

Maybe a silly question, but can you use a Chocolate Chex Mix coupon on a Regular Chex Mix purchase?

    • Andrea Deckard - March 09, 2010 @ 5:04 pm

Jimmy, unfortunately you can’t. The coupon can only be redeemed for the item listed. I think there is a coupon now available for any Chex Mix too.

Erika – Usually the machine just prints off multiple 50 cent catalinas. So if you bought 30 cans you would get 10 50 cent catalinas. HTH! I love it when they do this sale – my kids love mandarin oranges! Too bad there is no q to go with it.

Went to Kroger’s today with 3 Johnson Baby Coupons for $1.00. Bought 3 Buddy Soap Bars. Got a $2.50 Catlina for Johnson Baby Coupons.
I kept rolling it over and over til I cleaned out the store!

    Jan,
I think it is great that you got such a SUPER deal on the Buddies, but wouldn’t it have been nice not to “clean out the store” so others could get a few? Maybe you didn’t think about it, but… Thanks for letting the deal known, though!

    Andrea,
I was in Kroger today and noticed the Dawn directy foam dishwashing detergent was $1.99. I was hoping to remember to use the $1.50 off cpn from the P$G mailer at Target where they are around $2.54, but was so happy I’d forgotten!!
I received the $1.50 off Kelloggs clever kids fruit snacks in the mail, but keep forgetting to price. They are $1.99 at Kroger, so went ahead and picked themup, though I don’t know if this is the “best price”, but .49 OOP was good enough when I had only 1 cpn.

I went to Kroger’s today and on my receipt it said I had won 2 FREE tickets to Martinsville Speedway for the Goody’s Fast Relief 500! I called the number on my receipt and it was legit! I am so excited! has anyone else won any tickets? I was just wondering what their criteria is for the giveaway or if it is just random?

well my wife had received the same kind of receipt today, but she used my bro inlaws discount number where he is employed by a kroger affiliated company. the thing is my bro law automaticaly assumed the tickets where his since we use d his discount number. my question is do they give these tickets randomly to customers that use there discount card or just customers that dont use a number when they check out .

Although I did clean out the shelf, I found a clerk and told her what had happened. She went into the back of the store and brought out 2 dozen more Buddies which I did leave for others.
I don’t try to be greedy, it’s just that our church is trying to put together personal items for Parents who stay at Ronald McDonald house. I thought these bars would be great and I would then have more money for other items on my list.

    Jan,
I’m glad the store had more, and I’m glad you are donating to such a great cause. When I saw your post it just reminded me that it is easy to fall into the trap of getting so involved in a deal, that we forget to be courteous to others, and I also find some stores then hate such “deals”, which worries me that they will not be offered. It sounds like your enthusiasm just took over!! I’m sure Ronald McDonald house will put these to good use!!

    Andrea,
I forgot to mention that I got ground round for $2.49/lb. at kroger yesterday. I don’t think it is in the ad, and it wasn’t marked on the meat case either, but when they wrapped it the sticker had it at that price. I felt much better, as I was annoyed at myself for not thawing some, or getting it at Meijer, who have it for $1.99/lb. this week!! It would not have been worth the drive to Meijer for this but…

I went last night and noticed a few deals. Sunny D is $0.50 per bottle with the $025 q from the paper. Kiwi shoestrings – some are free or really cheap with the $1.00 q. Pampers wipes were $0.99 with the $1 Q. Reach toothbrushes, floss and access flossers are still 10 for $10,

Pampers wipes were $0.99 with the $1 Q. Reach toothbrushes, floss and access flossers are still 10 for $10, making them free with the $1 q (and there have been a lot of those lately). I tried to get buddy soaps for our food pantry but they were sold out and the q expires on the 15th. I hope they get some back in stock. Hmmm, perhaps I will go and ask them to order me some. Bumblebee tuna pouches are $0.22 with the coupon BUT I hear they are going to be in the mega sale next week so it might be wise to wait. Andrea – once again – THANKS for all of the hard work you do!!

I read on another blog that McCormick extracts and colorings were going to have a Catalina next week. There are coupons for these products for $1 this week also.
