My jewelry style is very simple and classic. I don’t do the bling bling except for my wedding ring. Lisa Leonard is the owner of Lisa Leonard Designs. She is an amazing jewelry designer who crafts beautiful hand-stamped jewelry that will leave you wanting more! Because, I truly do believe that less (and personal) is more.
Lisa offered me a custom piece in her amazing collection. It was so hard to choose exactly what I wanted. I have a necklace already with our boys’ names stamped. I was thinking of doing something more personal to represent my relationship with my husband. I chose the Word of the Year necklace (mine is above). It is custom and I liked that I could include a special word that has always been present in our relationship. The word always has a story for us :)
As I got to thinking about the necklace and which word I would choose, I wanted to see if it was possible for Lisa to also include a word on the back, as well. So, I emailed her since a custom “custom” section wasn’t on the order form. I was excited that she said she could. Since it is all hand-done, Lisa can sometimes to special requests like this. If you see me wearing my necklace out, know that you’ll see always on the front and something even more personal on the back. I love this necklace and am wearing it all the time. It is one of my faves in my jewelry box now!

Then I met my husband-to-be when I was 16. He was my first date, first kiss, first everything and we are still married after 37 years. We have always called each other “Lovie.” This necklace would remind me of my precious pastor husband who is the most precious and godly man I know.

I just love her line of necklaces! I do like the family tree one….but would love to have a custom made one…if possible…I have been married to my best friend for almost 26 years.
